Duties

Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises to promote healing and mobility.
Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions accurately, and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
Support discharge planning by preparing patients for ongoing care at home or in other settings.
Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and post-treatment exercises.
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards during all patient interactions.

Requirements

Valid licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience working in outpatient clinics.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy.
Familiarity with care plans for orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care patients.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to motivate and support diverse populations including elderly adults and children.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
