This is a Project Coordinator position that will need to work effectively with people from across a variety of professional and lived experiences. This role is public facing. Client is seeking a detail-oriented, articulate, and friendly project coordinator to support the growing Rural Health Transformation Program. The person successful in this role will be a skilled communicator, and responsive to changing circumstances. They’ll work effectively with people from across a variety of professional and lived experiences.
The Rural Health Transformation Program is a is a federal funding opportunity provided to states through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Client has received a first-year award from CMS for $203,670,005 to invest in rural capacity, sustainability, and innovation across three major initiatives:
- Strengthen the rural health care workforce.
- Drive rural technology and innovation.
- Transform rural care through partnerships.
The project coordinator may be responsible for:
- Scheduling Rural Health Transformation Program meetings which will include public and external partners,
- Managing calendars for the Program Director and Deputy Director
- Coordinating onboarding for new workforce members to the Office of Grants Management and Rural Health Transformation Program
- Taking meeting minutes,
- Updating decision or action logs
- Sending email memorandums, which include public and external partners
- Monitoring the Program inbox
- Tracking assignments.
