What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an acute-care or health-system pharmacy setting with progressive responsibility.
- Experience with pharmacy automation and technology initiatives (e.g., ADCs, robotics, workflow tools).
- Experience contributing to operational redesign, workforce optimization, or performance improvement initiatives.
- Preferred: Experience managing leaders (managers/supervisors).
- Preferred: Experience leading large-scale change initiatives such as technology transformation or staffing model redesign.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- State of Louisiana Pharmacist License or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Residency training (PGY-1 or PGY-2) preferred.
- Board certification preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience preferred.

What You Will Do
The System Manager, Inpatient Pharmacy Operations & Innovation provides system-wide leadership over inpatient pharmacy operations, technology, automation, workforce optimization, and continuous improvement across all BRG facilities.
- Lead system-wide inpatient pharmacy operations, automation, and innovation initiatives.
- Develop long-term roadmaps for pharmacy technology, automation, and workflow redesign.
- Align operational capabilities with clinical and organizational priorities.
- Oversee automation platforms including Pyxis and related systems.
- Ensure technology supports safety, efficiency, and workforce sustainability.
- Lead evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies in partnership with IT.
- Provide leadership for inpatient pharmacy operations through managers and supervisors.
- Develop technician workforce strategies, staffing models, and career pathways.
- Ensure operational consistency across inpatient facilities.
- Drive medication safety, quality improvement, and regulatory readiness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
- Manage budgets, capital planning, and resource allocation for inpatient pharmacy operations.
- Lead financial analysis of automation investments and operational efficiencies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop future pharmacy leaders.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
