Responsibilities
- Develop and manage staff schedules strategically, balancing labor needs, hotel occupancy, local events, and revenue goals.
- Oversee daily bar and beverage service operations across all outlets, including banquets, restaurant, and special events.
- Design and maintain innovative beverage menus aligned with the property’s brand standards.
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, and receiving of all alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
- Establish and monitor food and beverage cost controls to ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
- Ensure guest satisfaction with all aspects of the dining experience.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive resolutions and maintaining brand standards.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety, labor laws, and alcohol service.
- Interview, hire, and train restaurant, banquet, and event staff.
- Conduct daily inspections of workspaces and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Evaluate restaurant equipment periodically for repairs and maintenance; schedule service as needed.
- Maintain accurate sales records and track cash receipts.
- Input all tips into the tip sheet timely and correctly.
Communicate clearly and frequently with food and beverage team, leaders, and direct managers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage operations; 1+ years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fastpaced environment.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and restaurant compliance guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform repetitive motions.
- Must also be able to sit for prolonged periods when completing administrative tasks.
