Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is seeking a full-time, experienced, and passionate Digital Content Creator to help advance our mission of empowering families through shelter. This role is responsible for developing engaging content across platforms; including social media, email, web, photo, and video to strengthen our brand, connect with supporters, and highlight the life-changing work happening across our community.

Requirements
What You’ll Do
Create Engaging Digital Content
- Develop cohesive, mission-centered content across all digital platforms, social media, email, website, photography, and video.
- Capture, edit, and produce high-quality photos and videos that highlight homeowner journeys, events, volunteers, and community impact.
- Use tools like Adobe Photoshop/Express to design simple, effective graphics that elevate Habitat Omaha’s brand.
Support Email & Marketing Strategy
- Assist in planning, designing, and deploying email campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and automated flows.
- Ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals and resonates with supporters.
Strengthen Brand & Digital Presence
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all visuals and messaging reflect Habitat Omaha’s brand voice and values.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging digital tools, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Implement creative marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, reach new audiences, and increase digital engagement.
Manage Digital Performance & Advertising
- Manage paid advertising campaigns, including Facebook Ads, to increase audience reach and maximize ROI.
- Develop, execute, and refine SEO strategies to improve search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Analyze digital performance data and prepare reports to strengthen strategy and improve results.
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with internal departments to create mission-driven content that supports organizational initiatives.
- Partner with staff on storytelling for homeowner features, events, volunteer engagement, and donor outreach.
- Support cross-functional communication efforts to ensure unified, consistent messaging across all channels.
Contribute to Organizational Success
- Review and improve content based on performance metrics.
- Assist with additional tasks that support positive public engagement and overall organizational impact.
- Demonstrate flexibility, resourcefulness, and initiative in a fast-paced, creative environment.

What You Bring
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in digital content creation, digital marketing, or similar roles.
Skills & Strengths
- Creative storytelling: Skilled in photography, videography, and crafting narrative-driven content.
- Digital expertise: Proficient with WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms.
- Writing & editing: Strong copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills.
- Design: Ability to create fun, engaging visuals and graphics for digital channels.
- Analytics: Comfortable evaluating campaign performance and making data-informed recommendations.
- Organization: Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Mindset: Proactive, resourceful, curious, and eager to learn.
Bonus
- Experience developing SEO strategies.
- Familiarity with paid ad management (e.g., Facebook Ads).
