ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced in commercial and residential electrical construction and service work, takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety procedures, and can work independently or as part of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
✓ TDLR Licensed Journeyman Electrician (Texas Required)
✓ Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience
✓ Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical safety practices
✓ Experience with commercial, residential, and service work preferred
✓ Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
✓ Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
⚡ Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
⚡ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
⚡ Install conduit (EMT, PVC, Rigid, and Flex) and pull conductors
⚡ Install panels, transformers, disconnects, lighting, receptacles, and electrical equipment
⚡ Perform service upgrades, remodel work, and repairs
⚡ Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes
⚡ Test electrical systems and complete documentation
⚡ Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, contractors, and team members
⚡ Mentor apprentices and help develop their skills
⚡ Operate company vehicles, lifts, ladders, and equipment safely
⚡ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
