Seasons Dermatology & Aesthetics is a modern, upscale medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, luxury environment. We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Receptionist who is passionate about creating an outstanding first impression for every patient.
As the first point of contact for our practice, the Receptionist plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position requires outstanding customer service, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage provider schedules
- Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information
- Collect copays, balances, and cosmetic payments while accurately processing transactions
- Verify insurance eligibility and referral requirements
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, skincare products, and cosmetic services
- Process faxes, scan documents, manage incoming mail, and perform general front office duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical receptionist, medical office, dermatology, or healthcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance, referrals, and patient registration is preferred
- Strong computer, multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
- Professional appearance with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
