Entry-Level / Cable Puller – Low Voltage Technician
Location: Odessa, Midland, or Lubbock, TX (within 40 minutes max)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 40 Hours/Week (Fridays Off)
Employment Type: W-2 Contract-to-Hire (NOT 1099)
Pay Rate:
- Entry-Level: $20 – $22/hr
- Cable Puller Experience: Up to $25/hr
Position Overview
We are hiring entry-level and cable puller technicians to support low voltage and structured cabling projects. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to learn to break into the industry or grow their experience.
This is a hands-on, physical role in a commercial construction environment with long-term potential for the right candidates.

Scope of Work
- Pulling and routing low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber assist)
- Supporting structured cabling installations
- Assisting with cable management, labeling, and job site organization
- Working in a team environment under supervision of lead technicians
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation (no drive time paid)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Must be able to work in a physical, construction environment
- Must be located within 40 minutes of Odessa, Midland, or Lubbock
Compensation & Benefits
- Weekly pay
- Consistent 40 hours/week (Mon–Thur schedule)
- Fridays off (3-day weekend every week)
- Opportunity to convert to full-time after contract period
