THE ROLE
Field-facing HSEQ role with an established Permian Basin energy services company. You'll be out at the sites - auditing operations, coaching crews and supervisors, owning the HSEQ databases as the resident expert, and leading incident investigations from first report through root-cause.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct HSEQ field audits and lead employee safety training across company locations
- Handle site and facility inspections tied to regulatory agencies
- Coordinate weekly new-hire orientation with HSEQ, HR, and Operations
- Track training and ensure refreshers are delivered before they expire
- Own all HSEQ databases as the go-to system expert; capture, categorize, and report on all HSEQ events
- Verify field compliance with safety policy, regulatory requirements, and hazardous materials handling
- Audit safety and environmental paperwork for accuracy and compliance
- Mentor field supervisors through incident investigations and root-cause analysis
- Train field personnel on JSEA completion, incident reporting, and core safety programs
- Recommend and implement improvements to safety, operations, and logistics
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or a related field
- 2-3 years in an equivalent HSEQ role
- Valid driver's license
- Willing to respond to incidents after hours / weekends as operations dictate
- Able to pass pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
PREFERRED
- Field experience supporting upstream energy services
- OSHA certification
- SSH / CSHO certification
