These Electricians will work on the installation, modification, and repair of automated industrial control equipment in a dynamic oil and gas environment. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and be comfortable working in challenging outdoor conditions. What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Four years combined schooling and industrial experience required
- Strong machine electrical background and PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley RS 5000 a must)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints
- Knowledge of safety practices such as MSHA, lockout/tagout, NFPA 70E, and proper use of PPE
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and at heights up to 150 feet
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 150 feet
- Willingness to work off shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Associates degree preferred
- Journeyman Electrician License preferred
- Proven HMI Programming experience (Wonderware)
- Experience with networking (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.)
- Strong computer skills in a Windows environment
