What You’ll Need
- Willingness and ability to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements
- Valid and insurable driving license
- Ability to perform quality pre-operation machine inspections
- Physical ability to meet equipment manufacturer’s safety requirements (body weight under 330 pounds)
- Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- Strength to push and pull at least 55 pounds, lift up to 85 pounds, and carry weights over distances of at least 20 feet
- Strong communication skills and positive learning attitude
- Exemplary attendance, safety, and disciplinary record
- Flexibility on shift schedules (days and nights)
What Will Make You Stand Out
- 0-2 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry preferred
- Working knowledge of safety systems and processes
- Multi-lingual communication skills
