JOB SUMMARY
- The Invoice Submission Coordinator serves as a subject matter expert and team member within the billing department, facilitating day-to-day operations while focusing on the approval and submission steps required to complete the billing cycle using software and technology tools. This role bridges frontline billing work and management, driving process improvements and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and payer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Billing Operations
- Review and audit billing entries for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to submission.
- Work directly with the sales team to coordinate and facilitate obtaining approvals for invoices generated.
- Submit approved billing data directly or through 3 party websites and applications to ensure timely and error-free processing.
- Resolve complex billing disputes, denials, and discrepancies with customers.
- Conduct peer audits and provide constructive feedback to improve team accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure billing practices adhere to applicable regulations, customer requirements, and internal policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer submission portals and their requirements
- Identify trends in denials or underpayments and recommend corrective action
- Communicate production reports and issue resolutions to management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and customer service to resolve systemic billing issues
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of progressive oilfield billing experience, with at least 1 year in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity preferred
- Proficiency with the Enverus Open Invoice and Open Ticket software platforms.
- Experience with other 3 party oilfield billing submission platforms highly desirable, e.g. Ariba and GEP Smart.
- Demonstrated ability to research and resolve complex billing issues independently
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
