Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Assist with stock replenishment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely while following all safety procedures.
- Support warehouse operations including stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize logistics processes, improve order picking efficiency, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing procedures, and load & unload techniques.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
