About
Greetings. My name is Marcus Vickers. I am a very hard working and safe individual. I'm very experienced in physical labor. My work background stems from farming all the way to railroad work. I have worked in the maritime industry for many years s a senior deckhand on some of the biggest line haul boats on the Mississippi River. I have worked offshore construction on Various Shell platforms including Auger...Olympus and Ram Powell platforms. My duties were to install various size flanges and piping with chain falls and come along. I have used various tools as well, including pneumatic. I have worked the in the oilfield as a frac fueling technician for Energera. My duties were to make sure every piece of equipment stay full and running. I have experience working in Williston ND in the middle on winter. Prior to beginning a new site, I assisted with the rigging up and down of equipment. I have knowledge of H2s as well as NORM. I have worked for LB Foster my last job. We were out bided not long ago for the BNSF contract we were on. My job was being a Friction Control Tech. My duties included traveling all throughout different states to work on lubrication units that sit next to the track. These units have various electronics locked inside. we would change out sets of batteries when needed. Pump off lube products when the unit is low with the help of our service crane on our trucks. Various tools such as grinders...drills...track mat and 2x4's were installed Per EPA to help prevents spills if any when a train would pass and active the motor in the lube box so it could lube the track. All in all. I don't have a problem at all working away for extending periods of time. I'm a team player and I'm really big on safety. I'm a believer in Stop Work Authority.
