Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in joining your organization and bringing more than 15 years of experience in underground utility and telecommunications construction. Throughout my career, I have progressed from working in the field as a laborer to taking on responsibilities in supervision, project management, safety coordination, and fiber-optic construction.
My experience has given me a strong understanding of both field operations and the management side of construction. I have experience leading crews, coordinating daily production, maintaining safety and quality standards, reading plans and construction documents, managing contractors and resources, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and according to company and client expectations.
What I bring to the table is a combination of hands-on field knowledge, leadership, accountability, and the ability to manage challenging situations while keeping projects moving forward. I understand what it takes to work in the field because I have built my career there, and I know how to communicate effectively with crews, management, contractors, and customers.
I take pride in being dependable, safety-focused, and willing to step up when responsibility is required. I am also OSHA 30 certified and have extensive experience working in demanding construction environments where productivity, safety, quality, and communication are all critical.
