Apprentices, Journeyman and Red Seal Pipefitters – Up to $50/hour, Double Time Available – AB & BC Area
This Steamfitter-Pipefitter role with R2 Industrial Services focuses on industrial work on flare and incinerator stacks at oil and gas facilities across Alberta and British Columbia. The work is performed at heights ranging from approximately 60 to 400 feet using balconies, crane baskets, and elevated man baskets.
Crew members rig, weld, cut, bolt, and install mechanical components while working from height, maintaining standards for quality, precision, and safety. All tasks are carried out by a highly skilled team committed to working efficiently, supporting one another, and ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.

What you’ll need:
- Apprenticeship, Journeyman, or Red Seal Steamfitter-Pipefitter Certificate
- H2S Alive (ESC)
- Fall Protection (ESC)
- WHMIS 2015
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor (ESC)
- Standard First Aid, Level C CPR, and AED
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation) (ESC)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Abstract
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding work
- Comfortable working at 60–400 ft heights
- Strong mechanical and rigging skills
- Ability to travel across Western Canada
- Able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
