Position Overview:
The Director, Corporate Finance is a key member of the finance leadership team and is responsible for shaping the company’s financial strategy in support of its shareholder value proposition. This role leads the execution of strategic initiatives, capital management and treasury activities, and the development of clear financial narratives that support business outcomes and plans, including engagement with external stakeholders.
This role partners closely with Prismic’s senior leadership and key stakeholders to drive performance, optimize capital deployment, and support disciplined growth, with primary responsibility for execution, analysis, and decision support.
The ideal candidate combines deep corporate finance expertise with strong communication skills—financially fluent, commercially astute, and able to connect the story behind the numbers with clarity and conviction. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and accountability, deliver results in ambiguous environments, and thrive in a lean, dynamic, and rapidly scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Finance & Capital Management
- Lead corporate finance and ad hoc strategic initiatives, including capital structure planning and optimization, debt financing and equity fundraising, and investor relations support.
- Partner with senior leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives and capital allocation priorities.
- Support and coordinate capital planning across legal entities, including dividend strategy, capital allocation, and liquidity management.
- Partner with senior leaders to develop the capital framework, including economic capital modeling and stress testing.
- Develop valuation models and multi-scenario projections to inform executive decision-making.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead annual and multi-year planning and forecasting; align financial insights with strategic and operational goals.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators.
- Translate business performance into actionable insights for senior management and the Board.
- Build and continuously enhance financial models, planning processes, and tools; advance the data architecture required to deliver core responsibilities.
- Support strong governance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare materials and analysis for senior leaders, the Board, investors, rating agencies, banking partners, and other stakeholders, including insights on business performance and capital deployment.
- Craft high-impact financial and strategic narratives and presentations; synthesize complex data into clear, audience-specific messages that reinforce the company’s strategy and performance.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or financial strategy roles.
- Experience in asset- and balance sheet-intensive financial services, reinsurance, and private equity-backed companies is preferred.
- Familiarity with Bermuda and/or U.S. (re)insurance regulatory frameworks is a strong plus.
- Advanced financial modeling, FP&A, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and interpersonal skills; adept at translating financial results into clear narratives. Proven ability to develop and deliver executive-ready presentations and financial communications.
- Executive presence with high emotional intelligence and mature judgment in managing relationships at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Prismic is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $215,000 - $295,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on may factors including geographic location, candidate experience and skills
