Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage and optimize the movement of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain. The role involves coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays or issues
- Manage inventory levels and track stock movements
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and records
- Analyze logistics data to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Negotiate with carriers and logistics service providers
- Handle returns, claims, and damaged goods processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics/ERP software
- Knowledge of transportation and inventory management systems
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation
- Certification in Supply Chain (e.g., APICS, CSCP)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
