Recruitment / Training Manager (Debt Collections Call Center)

We are a rapidly growing consumer financial services company in the debt recovery space, expanding our operations across multiple markets. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Recruiter / Trainer to support the growth and development of our collections team in Jacksonville, FL.
This role is responsible for both talent acquisition and employee development, ensuring we attract high-quality candidates and equip them with the tools, training, and coaching needed to succeed. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in collections or call center environments and is comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead full-cycle recruiting for collections agents and support staff across multiple locations
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates for both performance potential and cultural fit
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding and training programs
- Train employees on collections strategies, systems, compliance requirements, and call performance
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees and managers to drive performance improvement
- Partner with Operations and Compliance leadership to align hiring, training, and performance expectations
- Track recruiting and training metrics and use data to improve outcomes
- Establish and refine processes, documentation, and training materials to support scalability.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, training, or a combined role within collections or a call center environment
- Strong understanding of debt collection practices, regulatory requirements, and performance drivers
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees at various experience levels
