Deckhands will assist with tow building, vessel maintenance, safety procedures, housekeeping, and general deck operations while working multi-week hitches aboard company vessels. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a maritime career, as no previous experience is required and ongoing training is provided.

What you’ll need

No prior experience required
Must obtain a valid TWIC card before orientation
Ability to work 14-, 21-, or 28-day hitches away from home
Ability to read and write English
Ability to lift and carry up to 110 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to board and ride in a skiff
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
Reliable transportation to and from assigned hitches
