What You’ll Need

Experience maintaining mill machinery including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Ability to perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills
Attention to detail and ability to request relevant parts for repairs
Commitment to safety in the workplace
May require passing behavioral assessments, references, criminal record checks, and drug testing

Superior troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process
Basic electrical knowledge
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Ability to collaborate with maintenance, operations, and production staff
